Beam patterns of headlights
The beam patterns of headlights must fulfil the requirements of the respective applicable road approval. These include a minimum and maximum brightness, a defined beam pattern and a definition of the light colour. A distinction is generally made in front vehicle lighting between low beam, high beam and fog light. Other headlamp types are possible.
