Double socket arm (RAM Mount)
In a RAM Mount system, a double socket arm sits between the base and the device carrier. This allows flexible adjustment of the mounting angle and distance.
A double socket arm has spherical recesses on both sides that can accommodate the balls of the base and the device carrier in the respective system size. As a double socket arm is separated lengthwise into two halves that can be clamped to each other by means of a screw, tightening this screw results in the balls being clamped and thus in a secure connection of the individual components.
Double socket arms are available in many lengths.
