Lens
A lens is an optical component made of a translucent material, often glass or polycarbonate. They are used to focus the light rays of e.g. a headlight or a work light and produce the beam pattern characteristic of the respective light. Often, a specific diffusion disc is additionally placed in front of the lens for this purpose.
